Maintenance plumbing jobs·Gold Coast + Brisbane
Maintenance plumbing in a crew of under five. Van home, fuel card, phone, tickets paid, and weekly and monthly commission on top of your hourly.
That is sitting in Blake's inbox. He'll give you a ring in the next couple of days. Nothing else you need to do.
Another 30 seconds and it is all tapping. Handy if there is plumbing you love, or plumbing you would rather never touch again.
Nothing else to do. Keep an eye out for a call from a Gold Coast number.
an hour, plus super, depending on where you are up to
Maintenance only. Different house, different problem, every single job.
It is already in there before you start. You will never be told to make do, and you will never be sent to a job without the thing that fixes it.
Four cameras and two jetters across the crew, so there is never a queue for the gear.
Different house, different problem, every job. You will never do the same thing forty times in a row.
Relining, CCTV and jetting. The skills actually worth money, and we have got the gear to teach you on.
Fuel card and tolls on us. You are not driving your own car to a depot at 6am to pick up a work one.
A proper team meeting so you know what is going on, something on together every month, and golf days through the year.
No phone going off at 10pm, no weekend emergencies landing on you. When you knock off, you are off.
So we ask what plumbing you love and what you would rather never touch again, then we try to keep you off it. There is a spot for exactly that on the form.
I started Genies because I had had enough of working for someone else. Doing the work, someone else making the money off it, no say in how any of it ran.
So I started with what I had. Mates, family, whoever would give me a hand. Slow going for a while. Now we are flat out, and everything you need to do the job properly is already in the van.
We don't do new builds. It is maintenance only. You turn up, work out what is actually wrong, fix it, and the customer is happy before you leave. That is the job.
I am not going to run it the way I got run either. You will have a say in what you work on. If you hate roofs, say so on the form and I will keep you off them.
Fill it in and I will ring you myself.
A minute of the crew actually on the tools. The vans, the gear, the sort of jobs you would be doing.
Opens on FacebookNo resume, no cover letter, no interview panel.
Where you are up to, where you can work, and your name and number. About 60 seconds.
Within a couple of days, and it is an actual conversation about the work, not a screening call.
See the vans, meet the crew, watch how we run a job. Then you decide, same as we do.
Between $30 and $50 an hour, depending where you are up to. A 3rd year sits nearer the bottom, someone qualified who can run relining sits at the top.
Plus super, and the van, fuel, uniforms and all the gear are on us. There is a spot on the form for the number you are after, so put it down and we will have that conversation properly.
Yes. A weekly commission and a monthly team commission, both on top of your hourly rate. If the business wins, you win. It is not a bonus that gets dangled and never quite happens.
Not at all. We would rather teach you. Four cameras, two jetters and all the relining gear, and blokes on the crew who know how to use them. You pick it up on real jobs, not in a classroom.
Monday to Friday, and we are happy to work around you. School run, early knock off, a standing thing on a Thursday. Tell us what you need.
Plenty of overtime if you want to chase it, none of it forced if you don't. And there is no on-call roster, so when you knock off you are off.
No. It is maintenance, so it is a different house and a different problem every time. We don't do new builds, so you are never on one site for a month doing rough ins.
Yes. Working at heights, and whatever other ticket makes you better at the job. We cover the cost and we give you the time to go and do it.
A small crew cuts both ways. No ladder of managers above you, but it means you get seen. Run your own van, take a leading hand role, help bring the next bloke through. We are growing, and the blokes here now get first crack at whatever comes next.
Send them our way. If you refer someone and they stick around, there is $500 in it for you. Best people we have hired came from blokes who already work here.
No, and we do not want one. The form up the top is three taps. We care what you can do and what you are like to work with, and a resume tells us neither.
